Go to "Game" and then "Saved Data Utility (PS3)." There should be a folder atop all of your saves that says Online Storage, with a PS+ icon next to it. ![]() By having a PlayStation Plus membership, you'll gain access to the feature from the XMB. Whether or not you have a PlayStation Plus account, everything you need to utilize cloud saving has been delivered to your PS3 with update 3.60. As the videos I've taken show, the feature is exceptionally easy to utilize. And better yet, your saves are tethered to your user name, so you can access them on any PS3 you choose, so long as you're signed in. Second, it allows you to keep your saves safe in a secure place in case your PlayStation 3 goes down or otherwise needs to be repaired. First, it allows you to free up space on your hard drive, which is admittedly negligible for most PS3 owners because a majority of saves are tiny, and a majority of PS3 hard drives have a lot of space (though a select few games have exorbitantly large saves). ![]() This allows you to do two important things. In addition to (or in lieu of) keeping your saves on your PlayStation 3 itself, you can opt to sign on to the PlayStation Network and upload your saves to Sony's servers.
